At the end of your rental period — 24 months for smartphones, 36 months for laptops, tablets and IT equipment — you have three options: upgrade seamlessly to the latest devices on a new rental plan (our most popular choice), return the equipment, or in some cases purchase at residual value. We contact you 60 days before your contract ends with upgrade options. There's no automatic rollover without your agreement. Most clients use this moment to move to the newest technology — with zero disruption to their team.

Any hardware fault that prevents the device from being used for its intended business purpose — screen failure, battery failure, motherboard issues, water damage, charging failure and similar. Accidental physical damage (dropped, cracked screen) is also covered under our standard plan. We don't ask you to prove fault — if a device stops working properly, we replace it.

Kadadak retains ownership throughout the contract. This is precisely what makes the rental tax deductible for your business — it's an operating expense, not a capital purchase. When an employee leaves, we recover the device. There's no ambiguity about data or ownership at any point.

Yes. You can add devices at any point during your contract. New devices are added on a matching term — if you have 18 months left on your main contract, new devices will be aligned accordingly. There's no minimum order for additions, and pricing stays consistent with your original agreement.

There's no hard minimum. We work with businesses of all sizes — from 2-person startups to 120-employee operations. That said, the economics tend to work best for teams of 5 or more devices. Contact us and we'll be straight with you about whether it makes sense for your specific situation.

All devices are securely wiped to NIST 800-88 standard before being reissued or retired. We can provide a certificate of data destruction on request. For businesses in regulated sectors (finance, healthcare), we work to your specific data handling requirements.

Absolutely. A mixed contract is common — for example, field teams on robust Motorola smartphones, management on Samsung Galaxy S-series, and office staff on Lenovo laptops. Each device type is priced individually and all are covered by the same 48h replacement guarantee.

Yes. Under Mauritius tax law, rental payments for business equipment are treated as operating expenses and are fully deductible against taxable income. Unlike buying — where you only benefit from depreciation deductions over several years — rental gives you the full deduction in the year it's paid. We recommend confirming the specifics with your accountant for your particular tax position.
